Cleveland metro home care

We want the cases other agencies turned away.

Rough dementia. Sundowning. Aggression. Wandering at three in the morning. The behaviors that exhaust families and scare other agencies are the ones our care team has the patience and empathy to work through. More than 15 years of complex behavioral care experience, now serving Cuyahoga County families. We don't give up. We come into your house and become part of the family.

A warm, peaceful home interior with natural morning light

Samuel Saunders opened Life Changing Care in 2019 to serve individuals with developmental disabilities and complex behavioral needs across Ohio. The work has always been the same. Slow down. Listen. Have patience. Work through the moments other caregivers walk away from.

Late-stage dementia carries the same behaviors his team has been responding to every shift. Sundowning agitation. Wandering. Aggression toward family members the person no longer recognizes. We know what to do because we have been doing it.

Every Life Changing Care caregiver earns the Direct Service Provider credential before they work a shift. Ohio designed this certification for behavioral support. We apply it to elder care because the families other agencies turn away still deserve someone who will go to the doctor's office, the psychologist's office, and figure out what is actually causing the behavior. Not give up on it.
